TRADESMAN Deal to Dealer Version 1.0 Is Out
27 August 2026. The cart left Early Access. The most important rule did not change.
AZAMATIKA shipped TRADESMAN: Deal to Dealer 1.0 on 27 August 2026, a little over two years after Early Access (18 June 2024). The launch news post is the best design document they have ever written, and it is three sentences long: you trade, fight, travel, buy, sell, quest, and fight again. The more goods you carry, the stronger the enemies, the harder the game. Ninety percent of the time that difficulty is your fault.
This page is the 1.0 briefing for people who bought at $2.99 in 2024 and for people who arrived during the introductory $4.99 sale.
What 1.0 is selling
- A finished (by their definition) map loop with Grampstead, Fishpool, Grubgrog, Hoboken, Normingham, snow, cemetery, and the western desert heading.
- More than forty goods, each with transport traits that buff enemies and/or road danger.
- Mercenaries you are allowed to like and then sack.
- Cooking, scrolls, two-scroll loadouts, duplicate epic caps.
- Talent trees for combat, trade, social, survival.
- Transport quests, classic pins, soulslike jokes, plot.
- 53 Steam achievements.
- Demo still on the store page.
- Steam Workshop, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, single-player only.
- Steam Deck Playable.
- Hats supporter pack (May 2025) and Donkey DLC (23 August 2026 ninja) as cosmetics, not a story expansion.
- Youngfield plus a story boss from that same ninja patch. Walkthrough and map.
If you need the play version of those bullets, start at Getting Started and trading. This page is the news version.
Numbers new merchants did not get in the tutorial
The launch letter listed them because players kept missing the tooltip:
- Forty-plus goods, each a danger modifier.
- You pick the fight budget with wells.
- Selling on-tag is standing plus coins — reputation.
- A full common squad escorts one stack honestly.
- Fleeing drops chunks from every well, not a cinematic game over.
Rarity can add a flat +5 road danger (highest wins). Extra units add ~0.25 each. Guard/Bandit HP and opening Parry live on industrial tools. That is why the goods tier list exists in a 1.0 wiki at all.
What Early Access veterans should relearn
- Reputation is faster (doubled gains) but still caps at the pillar reward.
- You cannot museum three identical epics.
- Two scrolls, no twins.
- Traps are speed bumps.
- Hunter scrolls are weaker versus beasts.
- Quest book has proper tab binds.
- Language screen mentions Workshop if you pick English and want extras.
- Wasteland is no longer a painted desert with a wink. It is a zone. Wasteland. Timeline: patch notes. Badges: achievements.
Price moved up as content grew. At launch the US store sat near $4.99 with a short introductory cut. That is still cheap for a GameMaker comedy sim with this many towns. It is not a free-to-play Roblox title and there are no codes to redeem.
Should you start a new save?
If your EA file survived the last migration, keep it. If a pre-release ninja patch ate it, start fresh and use the talent order on this wiki instead of 2024 memory. Copy AppData\Local\Tradesman either way — controls.
Watch the announcement trailer on the home page for the 1:09 store video energy, then watch a real cart session before you fill four wells. Official English gameplay from the studio (Wishilsto Maybo) still teaches the shout-and-quest rhythm even if some talent icons moved.
1.0 is not a different game. It is the same greedy cart with fewer excuses. Drive like the launch letter is watching.

No. Still single-player.
What should I read after this news post?
Getting Started, then combat if your cart already feels haunted.
