This desk is a timeline. TRADESMAN: Deal to Dealer’s news posts are first-person and slightly unhinged. We copy the systems that still change how you drive. Play advice stays on Getting Started. Official URLs stay on links.

20 April 2026 — WASTELAND: Big Update

AZAMATIKA shipped a new biome after painting a desert on the west map and watching players assume a desert. Same patch added locations, quests, and mercenaries “see everything in the game,” plus catch-up on old zones. Concrete systems from the notes:

  1. Wasteland itself.
  2. Sleeping in Grampstead cannot rob the Tradesman.
  3. Demand star icons appear when you hover a settlement on the map.
  4. Red Flag item marks the Tradesman’s spawn in a settlement.
  5. Silvermineham sells silver after a medium-difficulty condition — easier than the old hunt.
  6. Potion stacks raised from 3 to 5.
  7. One Survival passive changed; bad weather lasts much less but gained new effects (still readable on the map’s top-right).

February 2026 preview shots already showed shepherds and sheep, a second fishing town, a wasteland fortress, and something pirate-like. Treat those as flavour until the stall names stabilize on the map. Deep biome page: Wasteland.

16–17 May 2026 — Patch 0.2026.05.17a

A catch-up of tweaks they “didn’t have time to finish before the Wasteland update,” and still not all of them. Korean and Turkish Workshop texts were filled; some Turkish files fixed. If your language pack looks half-empty, check Workshop before you blame the cart — links.

11 July 2026 — price, achievements, release window

Price rose toward $4.99 as content passed the original Early Access pitch. Achievements were already finished (later 53). A “big boss” was promised. Full leave-Early-Access date aimed at 27 August 2026.

23 August 2026 — pre-release ninja patch

Not the celebration notes yet. Contained:

  1. The full game, including a boss, Youngfield, and new interactions there.
  2. Achievements (some grant on old saves by launching; many need the quest actually done in 1.0 data).
  3. Donkey DLC — supporter cosmetic, no combat advantage, same idea as Hats.

Walk that geography on the walkthrough. Badge weirdness: achievements.

27 August 2026 — Version 1.0 is out

Early Access ended. The launch letter restated the design: more goods, stronger enemies, you choose the difficulty. Forty-plus goods. Fifty-three achievements. Demo still on the store. Steam Cloud, Workshop, Family Sharing, single-player. Full briefing: Version 1.0.

How to use this list in a live cart

After any ninja patch: copy %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Tradesman\, sleep once, reread tooltips. Hunter scrolls were nerfed in 2024; traps no longer freeze the wagon; duplicate epics are capped; reputation gains were doubled in 2025. Those older rules still bite. Trading and combat for the live math.

Youngfield is a destination, not a patch ID. If you only remember one ninja line, remember the boss town plus achievements plus Donkey cosmetics landed together on 23 August. Drive there from the map after a real lane, not after four epic saws.

We will not invent a patch ID we did not see on Steam app 2555430. When a tooltip and this page disagree, the tooltip wins, then we edit.
