TRADESMAN Deal to Dealer Updates and Patch Context
Full release is live. Early Access is history. Wasteland is the desert you already saw on the map.
TRADESMAN: Deal to Dealer left Early Access on 27 August 2026. Early Access had started on 18 June 2024. This hub is the news desk for a fan wiki: what 1.0 actually promised, which systems already changed during EA, and where the western desert is going.
Child pages:
- Version 1.0 — launch rule (cargo equals difficulty), forty-plus goods, 53 achievements, price, demo.
- Wasteland — the desert belt players assumed from the map art, then AZAMATIKA decided to build.
- Patch notes — 20 April 2026 biome, May tweaks, 23 August ninja (Youngfield, boss, Donkey DLC), 1.0 day.
- Achievements — 53 Steam badges, Early Access mapping bugs, Bird’s Eye View / Black Scorpions.
For play advice, leave this hub. Use Getting Started, trading, and combat. Patch notes do not replace a thin cart.
What to remember from Early Access
You do not need every 2024 patch ID. You need the systems that still bite:
- Mercenaries read two scrolls, with locks against twins (December 2024 combat pass).
- Mercs gain post-battle XP pips; talents can be rerolled with points or coins.
- Traps no longer freeze the cart; you take the hit and keep rolling.
- Reputation gains were doubled in 2025; the 10,000 pillar number stayed.
- Identical epic copies are capped.
- Hunter beast-scrolls were nerfed.
- Saves have been migrated more than once. Copy
AppData\Local\Tradesmanwhen a news post sounds nervous — controls.
If a YouTuber still stacks three identical epics or talks about “Y” reputation currency, the video is historical. Rankings on this wiki assume 1.0 — mercenary tiers.
How AZAMATIKA talks
News posts are first-person, slightly unhinged, and honest about ninja patches. The launch letter restated the design: you choose the difficulty with your wells. A pre-release ninja patch landed days before 1.0. Roadmap letters from late 2025 already described Wasteland work plus catch-up on old zones. Discord is discord.gg/K4MC7akPTE. Developer social is @indie_vova. Steam app id 2555430. All of that is mirrored on links.
DLC is the Hats supporter pack (May 2025) and the Donkey pack from the 23 August 2026 ninja patch. Both are supporter cosmetics with no combat edge. Steam Workshop handles fan localisation after official Japanese/Korean/Turkish experiments were pulled.
How we will update this wiki
When a ninja patch retunes a tooltip, we patch goods and trading, not this paragraph. When a town name changes, we patch trade routes. When Wasteland grows a second brick, we patch that child page. We will not invent patch numbers we did not see.
The game is released, single-player, Steam and Steam Deck Playable. The 1.0 build is not a preview except whatever the desert still hides. If a random site still labels the title Early Access, they are stale. Trust the Steam news hub, then this page.
